yeah, but shosh, in all fairness, you are 10 years older than me, and already have a child.

Yes, but what I'm saying is that even when I was in my 20's and 30's, I dated older men, and even when I was in my 20's and 30's, I was no one's ideal of a barbie doll. Yes, some "older" men are looking for arm candy, but some really are looking for the same things as everyone else -- a person who shares their intellect, interests, and outlook on life.

i don't have a sour view. i think it's perfectly fair and reasonable to not want to date men 20+ years older than me.
I can definitely understand this; no one can tell you whom to date. I just don't see why it offends you.

I not know about that, maybe some...i find guys today in 20's 30s so unstable, retarted, and crazy the only thing they got going is their sweet tight butts and nice bods.

when i was in my 20s, i preferred guys who were older than me. 8-12 years older. but now in my mid-thirties, i find myself hoping to meet men closer in age to me.

the other thing, is that when i meet a man who is of a certain age and has never been married, often it becomes apparent why!

yeah, that's why i liked meeting older men when i was in my 20s -- 20-something guys just don't have their sh!t together yet.

i am really enjoying being on my own right now. it would be wonderful if i met a great guy, but if that doesn't happen, i think i'm okay with that. a bigger issue for me is if i would adopt a child and be a single parent in the next 6 years ...
