Default Philly blogs

I'm looking for popular blogs by Philadelphians but the link on www.phillyblog.com isn't working. Does anyone have any suggestions -- either of their own blogs or those they've become addicted to reading on a regular basis? Thanks!

I don't think I'm very popular, but my own forum is the bee's knees--it's like a blog on crack. The link is in my sig.

Click on over to Karl Martino's PhillyFuture.org

http://PhillyFuture.org/

He aggregates quite a few Philly-based blogs and also offers the ability to set up your own blog on his server. You can also post stories to PhillyFuture and your posts don't need to be approved by the moderator before appearing unless you choose to post anon.

Thanks for the kind word Jay.

Let me add that if you know of a regional blog that we don't list - let me know here: http://www.phillyfuture.org/addyourblog

We'll host your blog if you want too as well, although I encourage folks to get their own independant blog system.

Hi Karl.

I've got several long lists of philadelhia blogs if you want them. I've offered them to Wil hear but I guess this place is going in a different direction.

Let me know.

Chris

Yeah, chris I think our link to philadelphia blogs will just be a link to Karl's list for now, I'd like to someday have a rating system built so we can vote on which are best and use an aggregator to bring in the newest threads form all of them, right now I would need an intern or volunteer for that, as it is beyond my abilities.

Wil:

I think that makes sense. Philadelphia blogs are all over the place - and many don't seem to get updated very often - kind of like the ones that were on PhillyBlog.

I started my own and then never did anything with it. One of these days.

Chris, I'd love to see the list. Email it to me (see http://www.phillyfuture.org/addyourblog).

Will, thanks for the link I'd like to see both our sites work together. That's why I shut down Event posting at Philly Future.

Helping to educate folks about the different blogging solutions out there would be terrific. That's what's probably most needed. How to get started.

Thumbs up www.JoinPhilly.com

www.JoinPhilly.com is a cool site. It is new in town but the intreface is cool. Especially with the chat rooms and instant messages. I am sure it will take off.
