Ooh I want to play!

Boston, MA (born) --> Sudbury, MA --> Whitehouse Station, NJ --> South Orange, NJ --> Paris, France (summer) --> Baltimore, MD (college) --> Harare, Zimbabwe (study abroad) --> Astoria, NY --> Wilmington, DE --> Philadelphia, PA

While i miss the cheese in Paris, the sights in Africa, and mom's home cooking in South Orange ---Philly seems to fit me best.

Central Jerseyan by birth here, but my heart belongs to Philly. Was born in New Brunswick, lived in Matawan in northern Monmouth County until the age of 6, when we moved a half-hour south to Howell. Stayed there for almost four years. We moved to Voorhees in Camden County when my father got a job offer in Philly. At first I didn't enjoy my family's frequent trips to Philly, but over time I grew to love it and now call it my home. My immediate family still resides in Voorhees; I am currently a student at UPenn. I'm hoping to move into the city or an immediate suburb after I graduate, but who knows what could happen.

Default Where Have I Been

Phillipsburg, NJ > Rosemont > Philadelphia > Pacoima, CA > Los Angeles > Upper Darby > Philadelphia

Grew up in Phillipsburg when it was still a small town and not an exurb of NYC; went to Rosemont for college; moved to Pacomia and LA; came back to PA, worked for Haverford College and lived in Upper Darby; ended up back in Philadelphia. Thought for ten years after coming back from LA (returned from LA in '87) that I wanted to go back, but I found out that I really like Philadelphia (most of the time). The entire east coast (but especially Philadelphia) is gorgeous in spring time.

Born & raised in Winston-Salem, NC. I've lived in Philly for 17 years, though.

Longer stints in between in London and Pittsburgh. Shorter trips elsewhere, though you really can't say I was living there.

Within Philly, it went:

Presidential Blvd/City Ave. area > Lower Merion > Rittenhouse Square > West Chester > Fairmount

Wow - didn't know we should put that in too!

Travel is the one thing I love to do.

England; Ireland; France; Italy; Turkey; Canada; Mexico; Guatemala; British Virgin Islands. Still wanting to see the great southwestern part of the good ole USA.
