You still can and relatively inexpensively, too. USAirways (yeah, yeah, I know) runs daily flights between Philly & Shannon & Dublin all year around; British Airways runs 2-3 daily flights between Philly & London too. Yes, the cost of living is expensive and the British pound is high, but you can budget and still have fun. NE Philly (for about my first 2 years of life), Elmer NJ (did about 4 years here), South Philly (9th and dickinson), South Philly (10th and washington), South Philly(15th and Mifflin)....

been here for the last 24 years of my life.... first at 9th and dickinson my mother until about 4 years ago, then to 10th and washington for a few years, and about 8 months ago bought my first house at 15th and Mifflin
