we're homeys!
Oceanport, NJ (hometown)-> Richmond, VA(army) -> Columbus, GA (army)-> Fayetteville, NC (army)-> Chapel Hill, NC -> Bradley Beach, NJ (back "home" for school) -> Columbia, SC (took a year off) -> Allenhurst, NJ (back "home" for school) -> Charleston, SC (college of charleston)-> Voorhees, NJ (rutgers-camden) -> Collingswood, NJ -> Old City -> South Philly
While i could see myself living in San Francisco or LA or Chicago and even places like Portland or Boston, it would only be for 2 years at most. There really isn't another part of the country i'd rather be in. Besides, my extended family is all within 70 miles, my brothers moved here 3 years ago and my parents are moving here this summer.
I've also spent 6 weeks each in northern Spain and southern France and am thinking about going to Asturias or Galicia (northwestern Spain) for 6 months next year to scope it out and perhaps plant a firmer foot over there. but that really depends on my dad's citizenship paperwork coming through.
Even still, regardless of where i moved, they're all sure to be more expensive markets than this one so i doubt that i'd ever sell my house here. More importantly i'd always want to know that i have a "home" to come back to.
