Anyone know of any?

Try local gyms such as LA Fitness, they have basketball courts. What part of Philly are you in? Many community rec centers also have courts.

Call your local recs and see if they have any open gym time...

You will be hard pressed to find an available indoor public basketball court. They belong mostly to community centers and they are rarely open. They are mostly used for kids and leagues.

The only one I know of right now is on Kelly Drive by boathouse row. Unfortunately, it is half court and I have never seen it open. But I know Masterman and Roman Catholic practice there during their b-ball seasons.

The only other option is to pay and got to places like the YMCA or private fitness centers.

Kendreck Rec in Roxborough has indoor courts, although they're almost NEVER open for general use during the day, and the people seem too lazy to get up and unlock the doors...

The Rec at 4th & Shunk's gym is open to anybody as long as there isn't anything else going on first. Just go into the office and ask first if there aren't already people in there.

There is one in Bala Cynwyd. Who knows the schedule of availability?

Palumbo PArk in South Philly has an indoor bball court.
