Default First Date . . .

Hey all! This is my first post and I decided to post about some advice I was looking for . . .

I'm having my long distance boyfriend visiting for the first time in the beginning of December. I live just outside the city and go out quite frequently on weekend nights so I'll be OK with that. However I'm rarely around during the day and am not sure about things to do in Philly in the daytime. Not too sure about places to take him or things to do!

Any ideas??

Check out the City Hall tower tour. Only available during the day on weekdays, or some such silly thing - but really nifty when you get to the top. I think they ask a $1 donation now. Perfect for someone who's free at a time when a resident wouldn't be. (:

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is fantastic, and even if you think you are not interested in art, take one of their guided tours. They are really fun and interesting. A stroll up Kelly Drive afterwards can be nice as well. The cafeteria actually has some good eats as well.

They have a Segway tour that leaves from in front of the Museum that always looks like fun too!

Franklin Institute is always a winner.
