just so i don't come off as some sort of capitalist pig, let me say this: i'm not against all unionization. case-by-case. Similarly, I am also against paying CEOs and execs whatever they demand...it goes so totally against fiduciary duties its ridiculous. There's corporate malfeasence in America, you bet. But often times, unions aren't better either. Unionization has not prevented corporate downsizing/rightsizing, offshoring, and outsourcing. And all this has gone on for quite a while now. Its not a new trend.

Good or Bad Unions serve a purpose. If it was up to companies and businesses they would pay minimal wages with minimal benefits. If you made a mistake your did something wrong you could be fired on the spot. They don't have to answer to anyone, you have no protection. Who do you think started and got you and everyone else in america group health Insurance back in the early days of Unionism? Who do you think got you and every American your Weekend off? Yes! Unions!. So before you go on and say all the negative things about Unions. Remember the positive things that you take for granted when your playing with your childeren on the weekend. Unions Started Group Health Care and Weekends. Let's not forget. We all seem to forget how we got to where we are now. All I'm saying is don't be so critical because of some Union leaders today.D
