I'm so sick of all the attention Philly is getting over a recent pole of cities with attractive people.
First - Philly was NOT voted as the least attractive. It was just last on a list of most attractive. Obviously, not every city or town was listed on this. Second - Perhaps the people who contributed to this pole may have visited places like LA or Miami in the summer, witnessing all the beach babes and visited Philly in the winter, witnessing hats, coats and scarves. Third - 18-25 year olds are what we tend to classify as "hot". Middle age mothers and fathers and aunts and uncles are not. (Surely there are plenty of attractive people in their 30s, 40s, 50s.... but hear me out.) In Philadelphia, people tend to stay put. It's home to very many families. So if you visit Philadelphia and all you see is families - it won't stick out as a place with attractive people. Fourth - People from Philly often stay from Philly. Somewhere like New York, for example, is a place that a large part of its population comes from people who moved there when they were young adults. People brave enough to up and move to New York must be confidant - and confidence and attractiveness in many cases go together. Therefore, New York or other cities with all "new kids" are bound to have a bunch of confident, attractive people. Any other town that people stay and never leave (or more accurately, places where people never move TO) like "insert-town-here" is going to have a lesser population of these attractive people moving in. To recap - Philly is cold. Philly has families. Philly has Philly-bred people. Some places considered more attractive might be warm. They probably have less families and they definitely have attractive people confident enough to up and move there. To add - I see plenty of attractive people hanging out in the night scene! |

Of course Philly is ugly. Have any of you looked in the mirror lately? How do people in South Philly eat cheasesteaks without teeth anyway?

I don't know about YOU people, but I'm handsome.
One time I was at the King Of Prussia Mall and walked by the Abercrombie & Fitch store and they wanted to give me a job. I'm catholic and I swear to god, I was just walking by and they were like hey you should work here. YEAH And everybody knows only good looking people can work at Abercrombie & Fitch.
