Speaking as a representative for bunnies around the world, I was quite disturbed today when I saw a child hitting a person dressed up as a giant white Easter bunny.

Is this violence being directed towards bunnies or cute looking holiday characters or are children just evil?

Please be kind to all creatures.

Yup, thanks to our Pennsylvania brethren due west. That whack was courtesy of a Pittsburgh Pirates player. Finally, an ignominious sports story that didn't take place in Philadelphia! Of course, it wasn't long before we recaptured the title after someone stole the Philly Phanatic's head—I guess we couldn't let those Pittsburgers outshine us even in the odd little niche of mascot abuse.

I think they should arm all fluffy creatures/mascots so they can fight back and show people they won't take the abuse.

I think the movie Kindergarten Cop with Arnold Schwarzenegger had a scene in a toystore where a man dressed up as some character starting arguing with a parent, and I think they both ended up on the floor fighting. It was funny at the time, because the character had a mean streak.

If anyone remembers how this scene went, please post it.
