Default sick kids

Anyone else have a sick child? My 2 have a strange stomach thing-It started on Tuesday with the eldest and he vomited twice and again on Wed. night 2-3 times. The middle one also began to vomit on Friday just once or twice. Dad took them away for weekend and no vomit. Now they have returned and the eldest woke up at 6am and vomited and the middle one did the same.
So I am familiar with the 24 virus but have ever seen this phenomenon before. i have explored a psychological componet due to new baby but really believe all vomits are not induced....
So is there a virus going around?

I don't want to alarm you but please check for carbon monoxide if you don't already have a detector. The fact that they were not sick away from home raises a red flag for me.

Is your detector right by your furnace? Kids are more susceptible to things like that. Unfortunately, they are often the "canaries in the coal mines".

I have heard by a few people that there is something funky going around. We have yet to experience it (knock on wood).

Default Not kids but

My mother, who is bedridden, had a stomach thing earlier this week with vomiting...I had diarrhea and two co-workers weren't feeling right on Friday, also a stomach thing. There could be a virus going around - but I agree with OldMama and GMonkey - double check your carbon monoxide detector....just in case.

Will do though he vomited out of the house too and we have all widows open etc. Maybe it is just a mild and long lasting virus.

Kids are the first to feel the effects of CO but I forgot that you have a new baby whom I assume is not sick so that makes CO less likely.

Congrats on the new baby, by the way. And good luck since I believe it's a girl?? Wait until she's 11!

so far she is ok and she is the majopr concern. i am hand washing and breastfeeding like a fiend to keep her immunity up and hoping I do not get it considering my incision scars etc.
Hubby joined the boys last night so this gets more and more interesting!
Yes she is a girl and i dont want to think of the teenage or tween years. At the minute I am completely besotted- maybe because she is the last child we will have, maybe because she is beautiful....( could just be my hormones though!).

Congratulations on the new baby! I've got a girl, and I shudder to think of her teenage years. So let's pretend they are a million years away, huh?
