I was wondering if i was the only one horrified. Some people are just animals.

The bumpy roads are a great idea. I think the ones that lead to Penn while in labor got to be the worst!

Walk and go out to dinner. I don't know if the dinner part will help, but it might be the last time you get to do it for a while! Maybe you should go see some movies too!

Good luck!

I second the movie and dinner - since my first (she turns 4 tomorrow) I have seen less than 6 movies that aren't animation. Enjoy the last few days and take it easy. Maybe a nice, non kid friendly restaurant - Chili's, McD's and all those get old fast.

Good luck!!

the movie is good if you can sit on those seats for that long. A nice (quiet, uninterupted-imagine) meal would be perfect.

he/she will come when ready!

Both of my sons were about three weeks late. And they were both over ten pounds at birth. I think they were just unwilling to leave. I can't say I blame them. Almost fourteen years later, their mother is still gorgeous.

Good luck!

this is not from personal experience because i had 2 emergency c's, but my friend swears by the castor oil trick....you take to...ummm....clean out your system, and labor is supposed to start shortly after. but i agree w/others, a ready baby is the best!

A long bus ride from Roxborough to CC and back with a long walk in between started my first labor. I think Septa and city streets basically bounced the baby right out.

My OB stripped my membranes and started my second.

Default a particular herbal tea -- Raspberry Leaf, I think.. not sure..

Someone recommended a tea to us..

Not positive, but I think it was Raspberry leaf tea...

I'm at work, not at home, so I can't check to make sure..

But my child was delivered a day before the due date...
