Why not mention the names of your businesses so that everyone who agrees with you can make it a point to show support. You seem confident that you are well liked and even admired for your vast knowledge. I'm sure many are curious.

(And note how Market separates the rowdier part of Old City from its quieter side -- and that most of the restaurants everyone likes are on the rowdier side.)

And let me remind everyone here that the bad folks ruin places because they're bad, not because they're black -- or from South Jersey, or whatever you want to fill in the blank with.

*I met Mr. Lovell when he was getting his start in the shoe trade with a store in Rehoboth Beach, Del. Even though that seaside resort is still associated more strongly with Washington than Philadelphia (hence its nickname, "The Nation's Summer Capital"), Lovell told me once that his store got more business from Philadelphians than Washingtonians, which influenced his decision to sell the Rehoboth store and open locations here.
Holy ****, when did South Street get a Payless? What & South? I haven't been up there in a very long while,so,yeah. Probably almost 2 years.
