Default To The F*cktard Whose Dog Attacked My Dog Tonight

you suck and your dog sucks.

around 8-ish tonight my dog and i were going for a walk and saw loads of people and their pups congregated on the green near wood & lawrence. we came over, my 10 year old dog was on her leash, and your off-leash f*cking dog ATTACKED my dog, completely unprovoked. you did absolutely f*cking nothing while someone else got your dog off of mine. you offered a feeble "sorry" while only being concerned with your dog's well being. now we're upstairs in my apt and my dog is f*cking BLEEDING all over the place. thanks to you & your dog. i am now awaiting a call-back from my vet, but will likely have to take her over to penn tonight.

"sorry" doesn't cut it. way to be an irresponsible dog owner, lady. if i knew who you were i'd be sending you my vet bills and the cleaning bills from the blood that's all over my place. and that doesn't even begin to address the horror and helplessness i felt while watching your vicious dog on top of mine while she yelped and cried. you better f*cking hope we never run into each other again.

ps: i do want to say a very heartfelt thank-you to the brave guy who saved my dog and to the other very nice folks who expressed concern. thanks very, very much.

Sorry to hear this ugly story and hope you'll keep us posted on your dog's health status. Describing this irresponsible owner as a "F*cktard" is putting it mildly.

Would like to also hear a description of the dog and its brainless scumbag of an owner that unleashed this terror on the neighborhood.

I am so sorry to hear about your dog!!!

The unleashed dog's owner should definitely pay for the vet bills and everything. She should be held responsible for what her actions caused. Unfortunately, it doesn't sound like she is the type to step up in this situation. I do hope you run into her again (without the dogs)!!!

The best to you and your fuzzy one!!!!

thank you all so much for your kind words. i spoke to my vet and she felt comfortable waiting to see fizz tomorrow morning. the bleeding has subsided.

i really don't even remember what the woman or her dog looked like. it felt like it all happened in an instant. had i had my wits about me, i definitely would have gotten her contact information, as she is liable given that her dog was off leash and mine wasn't. but i don't even care about that -- i really just want to make sure fizz is alright. that's what's most important to me.

again, thanks to everyone who expressed concern & interest. i greatly appreciate it!

Sorry about your dog. The vets at Penn are great and will take good care of your dog. One of mine got a long cut from running next to something sharp and they took care of her as if she was their own dog. It's worth the little bit extra for great care. Good luck.

1. you should have called the police
2. you should have insisted that woman stay there and PAY for all of your dog's treatment.
3. wear steel toed shoes, if your dog is attacked one really good kick to the head will put a stop to that. It may kill the dog but I'm of the opinion that if a dog is so dog aggressive that it attacks other dogs it needs to be put down, or at the very least walked with a muzzle.

4. I'm really sorry that happened to you. A dog lunged for mine (a toy poodle) and the owner said "oh how funny."
