He lived in Society Hill, on Spruce Street. The homicide cops questioned neighbors there at the time.

Default Stephen Grosse

All I wanted to know is that if anyone knew who killed him. He was my First Boss in the dental field. Since I've moved from the city, I thought there was more written on him.

I just wanted to know if they found the people who did it. I thought I Missed something. It'll be 10 years this June.

SLAIN DENTIST'S BENEFICIARY SPEAKS OUT \ ALVIN STEFFEY SAID THE TWO WERE CLOSE FRIENDS, BUT NOT LOVERS.
Source: Nita Lelyveld, INQUIRER STAFF WRITER
Alvin Steffey, aspiring actor and self-described ``best friend'' of slain Society Hill dentist Stephen Grosse, sat before a bank of microphones yesterday in the shabby Hollywood Holiday Inn, answering questions about the man he met four months ago on the Internet who made him the beneficiary of a $1 million life insurance policy in his will.

MYSTERY SHADOWS DEATH OF DENTIST \ STEPHEN WAKEFIELD GROSSE LEFT A LOT OF DEBT AND AN AMBIGUOUS INSURANCE POLICY.
Source: Ralph Vigoda, INQUIRER STAFF WRITER
When Society Hill dentist Stephen Wakefield Grosse was shot to death in his Mercedes on a secluded road in Lower Merion Township four months ago, he left two mysteries:

Who killed him? Who gets the million dollars?

Neither is likely to be solved soon.

Homicide investigators are tracking leads every day, said Bruce L. Castor Jr., first assistant district attorney in Montgomery County. ``

I did it.

I was still in high school at the time, didn't have a driver license (still don't) and had never met him but I still managed to kill him, set his car on fire and drive it to the suburbs.

I also killed Hoffa from inside my mother's womb, but I'm not going to tell you how I pulled that one off. And don't ask me about DB Cooper.

hmmmm...if you killed someone and wish to dispose of the body, does it realllly matter whether or not you have a driver's license to drive the car to the burbs? I think once you murder someone, your granted certain carte blanche driving rights, at least until you get caught. But you just told on yourself, so those rights may now be revoked.
