Hope I'm in the right section of the board for this.
I've been tasked with driving my father-in-law to the Penn relays this Saturday. I believe he wants to be there at ten a.m. Anyone with any experience driving from Old City/Society Hill to UPenn (stadium) when the relays are going on? I imagine I'm going to need more time than the ride usually takes, anyone want to give me some ballpark ideas (and maybe any "secrets" about navigating the area come relay time)? |

If it's a nice day I would recommend taking SEPTA's Market-Frankford line to 30th street and then walking. Just 3 blocks to 33rd and then a couple south to Franklin Field.
Or if you must drive, you would probably be fine following directions on their website (http://www.pennathletics.com/ViewArt...0&ATCLID=66184). The only traffic problems you'll probably encounter are parking over by the stadium. good luck |

I'll see if I can find some navigational tips on the sports board or check what they may have to say about U City. |
