i'm a big fan of American Mortals at 8th and walnut (which was recommended to me about a year ago right here on PB!)

I get my color and cut at Salon on 4th in Queen Village. Nice place.

If you find someone good, Jean Madeline Institute at 4th and Bainbridge is a GREAT deal -- I love my current haircut.... of course, I went to someone who is about to graduate so I'll have to ask around to find someone else....

After having two bad haircuts (never what I asked for) at Pileggi, near Rittenhouse, I switched to Oggi.

The only bad thing about Oggi is the owner. She seems to be always in a horrible mood (she can be intimidating over the phone) but once you get past the front desk (where she usually is), the staff is very friendly.

I have always liked the way they've cut my hair.

Brescia on South Street between Front and Second Streets. I've been going to Danielle there for more years than either one of us cares to think about! (But she has very limited hours) Bernadette (the owner) is great too.

I second that. I heard a rumor a certain PB stylist is moving there.

I have been going to Jean Madeline for two years- LOVE IT!! It's at 3rd & Bainbridge.. Haircuts are $12, color is $40. The students are very professional, young/hip, do an awesome job. I would def check it out!

And a pretty talented stylist she is!
