Is development finally going to be starting along the Deleware River in the Northeast?
http://www.northeasttimes.com/2005/0526/riverfront.html It would be nice to see anything along there other then the clusters of delapidated and rusted factories and industrial sites. The condos and marina at Rhawn Street & State Road sound nice with being next to the park and all but dosen't that site butt right up to the prison?

Thousands more - new condos and townhomes. Miles of new sewers, new schools, new roads, new police protection, more fire protection.
All without paying property taxes for ten years. Who will be the last fool to pay the city property taxes. I'm glad to see such developments - how many reasonably priced homes will be built up there, how many new (as opposed to shifted incity), etc. Without planning, we will pi$$ away this city.

I think it is at the end of Princeton Ave. If you look at my first post under Deleware River development there's a link to the Northeast times with info about the different sites. When you get off 95 going north at Cottman Ave, look to your right. You will see a cleared lot next to the boat marina and St. Vincent's Orphanage. I think this may be the site. The 95 exits for Cottman Avenue are supposed to be re-routed and possibly the fire house on Longshore Avenue is slated to go to make way for this new on ramp.
