Default GREEN GRASS GRACE

This book is by Shawn McBride. He's a Judge graduate, and makes alot of references to his neighborhood.

I thought Scoop would enjoy it since alot of it takes place up in his old neighborhood of his teens.

It's not a great read, but it's pretty neat identifying with some of the places he mentions. Figured maybe some of our fellow Northeasterners might enjoy it. Caution.....it has alot of cursing in it.

Sorry Geno. I didn't see that thread.

That's so cool that you got to read all about the ol' stomping grounds.

I liked how he described the houses, and all the lawn ornaments. The ultimate though was the big plastic comb in his back pocket.

Surely you are too young to recall the comb, and the feather haircut though. ;-)

No big deal, thet thread was ancient. It's good to have one in the NE forum too. As a matter of fact, I am not young to remember. Those combs were a riot. You could use them for self defense too.

Good book and recommended reading for anyone who grew up in the area.
