8/28 - 6:41 pm - 1600 block of Sellers st - rape by stranger
8/31 - 9:13 pm - 5300 block of Hedge st - rape attempt by stranger
Most rapes are classified as "domestic" or "by known acqauintance" and I just thought that this was quite a cluster of "rape or attempted rape by stranger."

Judging from the genre of residents that have taken over what was once a lovely neighborhood, I'd suspect quite a few rapists reside in that area now.

Yeah it is a strange cluster. However many "stranger rapes" are reported by prostitutes.....

Could be, but aren't most prostitutes addicted to crack and /or heroin? I would think that they wouldn't want to get involved with the law because it may interfere with their scheduled high and "work" area.

That's true, but many still report it....you know if the client somehow "forgets" to pay for the services

I am not satisfied that the guy in custody is responsible for all of the rapes for which he is accused. There have been 20 something rapes so far this year. As you said, they continue while he is in the slammer. Our map to date:

The issue of accountability comes up when we look at the record of crimes but have no record of arrests or convictions. We need both sides or we really know nothing.
