IMO both locations (frankford/cottman & 8601) are equally shady...
If you go up a block or two you are on Pennypack Street.......I meant I know people who live in the area and on Pennypack St....

I dont goto the one at the mall.....I rarely goto that mall anyway....its bad enough my fiancee works up there....

I agree with you about the one at Cottman & Frankford....now they have that pawn shop right near there in the old Mayfair Jewelers shop....its sad.

Ive gone to the one near Doms on a few occasions....day and night and I havent had any issues....then again I grew up in the area so Im comfortable here

Could've just been the times I've been at both locations. But that's just MY opinion.
Hmmm, interesting Gal. I would say that of those 3 locations, I would be least comfortable at the Roosevelt mall location, but thats just me. When i'm at that mall, I feel like I have left the US...There's always Holme circle.

Oh, the mall... as a whole.. terrible. But just that little spot where Rita's is..

I grew up in Rhawnhurst & Castor Gardens, so much like the previous poster stated, maybe that's why I'm more comfortable there.

I like this thread. No one is being mean or bashing anyone.. Very pleasant. I just hope I didn't jinx it.

Right, and I grew up near St. Doms and currently live near Fkd & Cottman, so i'm very comfortable at both of those spots...awareness in key no matter where you are.

I agree it's nice to see everyone take the rarely travelled high road on this thread...

I will NEVER forget the one time I was heading home, going North on the Blvd and the light turned red, between the old Pin Ups and the fire station. When I stopped, I looked in my rear view and saw this a-hole, speed up to me, swerve and blast right thru the light.

Wish me luck today.. I have head that way today -- heading to the Macy's @ The Roosevelt mall.

haha good luck!

My fiancee sits at Holme circle waiting to get onto it...drives me nuts....she thinks the trafic coming around going onto rhawn isnt going to turn....then you get people backed up on rhawn and a few that try to go around...its chaos!

She hates driving with me because I chew her out but when everyone else out there is agressive....it pays to match their level.
