I used to go to a big Brazilian festival/block party on Castor Avenue every year, which was great fun. I would love to go back this year - does anyone know when this is??

It wasn't fun for everyone, Cliff.

One of my neighbors over on Faunce had to clean up after the festival attendee who vomited all over her back driveway.

I had to spend the evening picking up beer cans and bottles left on my front steps and cleaning up broken glass, cigarette butts and trash left in the street by our cars. I won't even go into detail what the neighbors on either side of me had to clean up off of their properties.

As far as I'm concerned, we can do without a repeat of this festival until they figure out how to minimize the impact to the people who LIVE here.
