I really do believe though that it all equals out..we have good and cheezeball things happening here. Always have always will. Look at Smokeaters..that looks WAY better now than the way it looked as Callahans...Rylei is a lovely place The Grey Lodge, Coffee shops...even Moes looks nice, . The bank at Cottman and Frankford looks nice too even though Id rather it be the old Eckard so I dont have to walk to Rite Aid..
Now if we could just clean up Family Dollar....and get the property owner to remove those stupid plastic planters that people have used as benches.


I dont know if I am missing them..but have the green machines been out at all this year?

I dissagree ....

The Eckerd is now the Republic Bank, and even though the bank looks a helluva lot better than the drug store, I WISH they would have left the Mayfair Movie sign in place.

The Mayfair Jewlers are gone, and is now occupied by a pawn shop that has HUGE signs out front that I'm sure they need a permit for and didn't bother to get. I hate that place.

The 2 - 3 stores next to the pawn shop are now vacant. I used to think this was prime real estate, although now I'm not so sure anymore.

Fannie Mae is GONE

The diner next to the suntan place changed hands ( I can't think of the name )

Subway

Pats Music moved

So did Liberty Bell bikes

I think that State Farm took over the old Vaccum place on Tudor around that time

Last Call, SmokeEaters, The Cog, Caspers, Tailhooks, all new since 2002

Moe's was re-done and looks nicer in appearance.

The Pretzel Factory expanded

Jim's Pretzels opened up at the old Sound Oddesey location

That indian restaurant I don't think was there before 2002

That's just off the top of my head. Don't forget the May-Fair

We've had some good, and some bad changes, but it HAS changed since 2002 that's for sure
