Default Does anyone try to conserve gas?

Not in the northeast. I have passed numerous drive-through lines where the cars, at least 8 or 9 deep, are all sitting at idle. Shopping plaza parking lots are filled with cars sitting at idle. I've also seen cars and trucks at the gas station-still running as the driver fills up!

Brilliant moves, all of you!

I've largely switched from using my car to taking the 66 to get to the Frankford Transporation Center. Saves about 3 miles per day on my commute to work

It's okay, their welfare checks will cover it.

Any wawa parking lot you can find trucks idling while the driver is in getting his coffee or the pgw trucks I don't think they ever shut them off.

Wawa is the worst! I go in with my last four dollars for some gas and you have to wait twenty minutes while the people in front of you have their weekly shopping order rung up. And it's usually topped off with a last second dash back to the shelves for one last thing they forgot, or they send the cashier on a wild goose chase for some obscure pack of smokes that's hidden behind everything else under the register. I couldn't imagine leaving my car running all that time. Oh yeh, especially because it's dangerous...

I don't drive.

When I need a car, PCS. I did some driving in order to move out of CC, but that's about it. Sometimes I get a PCS car to go to Yardley for work.
