Nice addition. Hopefully people will listen to you and no one will recycle. Think about all of the time we will save. It will also be cool because they will have really cheap vacations on the new tropical island made out of plastic bottles that's forming as we speak in the Indian Ocean. Sweet.

Can't you drop off at State Rd. & Ashburner? I know you can drop off your old CRT appliances there. You can also pick up a new recycle bin there also.

You can do all the research you want and find compelling arguments for both sides. It comes down to what do you want to believe. I choose to believe that alot of what we hear is lies. I believe that there is no shortage of landfill space (another thousand years of garbage would only fill an area 35 miles square by 100 yards deep), Recycling (all but aluminum) causes us to use more energy and create more pollution and just as much waste as using virgin material. Like I said, it's bull...

So I wonder if I'll go from my current weekly dual-stream to bi-weekly single stream this month and then at some point over the next six months have it increased to weekly again. That would be horribly confusing for people.

I think you can take your stuff to the Lincoln High School parking lot on Saturday mornings and drop it off. They have recycling trucks there.

I think the plan is that areas that currently have bi-weekly recycling are going to transition to weekly over the next 6 months, they're not take your weekly service away
