Does anyone know why CLIP requires the person filing the complaint to provide THEIR address as well as the address in question.

I've had a few people ask me this, but I don't have the answer. I'm guessing its to make sure the complaint is ligit. I think people are simply worried about who gets to see this information, as I'm sure they dont want the scum to see they are the ones who complained.

Do you have to provide this information to L&I when reporting a complaint?

Because when they come out..if you have anything wrong with your property they will CLIP you too!
My neighbors had raw garbage on lawn....high grass...dirty diapers...trash filled yard..and I got a citation for keeping a trash bag 1/3 full (to pick up litter on the driveway) in my yard.......Now..I didnt get a fine..but thats how it works..especially if you have to call repeatedly on a neighbor...they start going after you.

That's ashame. I had a similar problem with a neighbor. Tall grass, siding falling off the house, broken cement out front. I filed a report with the 15th online and anonymously. Said I thought she might be dead. Someone came out and cleaned up her property within two days. Don't know if it was CLIP or not.

CLIP needs your info as the filer just in case your info is incorrect, addresses etc., also just imagine the bogus calls they would get if they had no one to check back with.

a federal project ,which is supported by taxpayer funds , are projects where the owner of the property is being reimbursed 50% over or more of the rent which is the going rate for the property. ex. ie. if you could rent your house on the open market for 500 dollars a month the federal govt. will give you 750 dollars a month if you allow someone who cannot afford the 500. and there are many more such projects very similar to this

So owner occupant taxpayers are paying taxes to subsidize the absentee owners and their tenants who are destroying their community?
