Default ISO: Manual Grass Cutter

Yo

Anybody got one of them manual grass cutters they'd like to get rid of? My LL gave me a weed eater to do the lawn with, but I can't seem to get it to look even and I'd rather not lug around a gas pushmower if I don't have to. He's hitting up his relatives searching for one of these antiques but I think he's going to come up short.

I'd prefer a grass cutter that isn't rusted out and needs the blades sharpened, i.e.: one that's in pretty good shape.

I have someone cut my lawn for about 9 bucks every 2 weeks. Perhaps that's an easier route for you to go?

Meh... I kinda like taking care of my own lawn, believe it or not--it's like a "personal sized pizza" lawn.

When I was a kid I had to maintain 4 acres and ~25 trees and 4 flower beds--that was a bit much. Add TX heat to it (much like the heat we had Monday... which lasts from May to October), and it was brutal.

I am gonna have to construct a raised sidewalk flowerbed and install some holly bushes to block trash from blowing up into my lawn. It seems after I rake out the trash, it reappears within 48 hrs, sometimes sooner than that.

I figger I'll measure out the yard and have Home Depot cut me some logs, and I'll borrow a truck from PCS. When that gets done my yard will be even smaller.

Measure the yard and post the dimensions on here, I just removed 4 large 'logs' from my garden...you can have them if they fit. I have been procrastinating cutting them up and tossing them in the trash...my laziness could be your gain, lol. I can cut them to size if needed.

Thanks GN... I might have to buy one. The lady who was selling the grass cutter on CL sold it within minutes of posting. They're quite popular. So are the electric push mowers, which are going like hotcakes since they don't run on gas.
