I had seen Twisted Sister several times in the 80's, but my favorite was W.A.S.P. at the Troc in '92.

Default Best concert

I have 2 favorites Led Zeppelin in 75 at the Spectrum and Queen in 76 at The Tower. I've also seen Elvis Costello about 15 times and everyone was great.

The Machine performs several times a year in the area, they might do an annual show at The Keswick (Thanksgiving, New Years?). Maybe we'll be lucky enough to have them come to the Devon one of these days.

My top 3 favorites concerts were

1996 Page & Plant - Was probably the closest I would ever get to see Led Zeppelin. Was amazing to see Jimmy Page play live. I even went to all 3 shows in Philly on that tour.

2007 The Police - I never thought in a 1,000 years that The Police would ever get back together again. Was an amazing atmosphere, and Message in a Bottle was the highlight of the night.

1996 Kiss - Loved Kiss growing up, and to actually see them live with the make up and pyro, was something I will never forget.

[quote=Jim from Mayfair;789926] When I first saw Kiss at the Spectrum, the opening act was a guy nobody heard of, by the name of Bob Seger and the Silver Bullet Band. quote]

And all for 6 bucks which is probably around the cost of a soda there now.

I remember those all day concerts @ JFK.. Lynard Skynard , Peter Frampton..Stones..I saw The Police free @ Liberty Bell Race track in 81 with The Go- Go's when they first came out with a bunch of other groups. Any one remember PEACHES Records on The BLVD..Van Halen was there when they first came out...got to meet them and take pics. I am going to see the Police July 29th with Elvis Costello whom I LOVE also! I'm sure thats gonna be a awsum concert...I went to Tom Petty last week too. Top 3 would have to be#1 any BOWIE concert I went to I LOVE him..Bowie @ The Tower 1973-4..went to every concert he played in Philly since...he's THE MAN.. #2.tie. U2 Vertigo Tour./ The Pretenders @ The House of Blues in AC....OMG they were great live...and #3 tie...Rolling Stones/ Red Hot Chilli Peppers.. I go to alot of concerts..went to The Who last year they can still rock..Fleetwood Mac.saw them like 10 times since the 70's..Morrissy..I like most music except RAP ! I'm really looking forward to the POLICE! Then November Madonna..what the heck! But what I'm really looking forward to is the start of EAGLES FOOTBALL!

I've seen a lot of concerts in my youth, with prices like $6 a ticket,$13 for Floyd, why not.The concert I remember most was Alice cooper 1975 at the Spectrum,Welcome to my Nightmare. It was the best live performance, with all kinds of props from skeletons jumping out of giant chests on stage to witches and ghosts flying through the air.But the best part was when Zombies came running out onto the stage wearing Flyers jerseys. The crowd roared so loud I thought the roof of the spectrum was going to blow off again. You have to remember I was 19 and it was april of "75",the flyers were heading for their second Stanley Cup.It is,was and always will be my favorite concert.

April 25, and if you got home in time or to a tv it was also played on late night tv........not the concert itself but a tv production of the album which was also released on video. Maybe Don Kirshners Rock Concert. Any idea who opened? For some odd idea Suzi Quatro comes to mind.
