Thumbs up Holme Circle Civic Association Formed!

We are proud to announce that the Holme Circle Area has formed a Civic Association! The boundaries of the Holme Circle Civic Association are listed at the bottom of this message. A membership drive is planned for June 11th at Holme Circle near the Rita's Water Ice Stand.
We are asking neighbors to come out and support the Holme Circle Civic Association. The Civic Association was formed for preservation of our great neighborhood. Strengthening the area through neighborly stewardship would benefit all of us.

We can improve and preserve this area and the surrounding areas by acting as a forum for issues that pertain to us by supporting and taking positive action towards community improvements and promoting regular social events throughout the year, along with working with other associations for all residents who join the HCCA

Membership Drive Information:
When: 6:30 PM June 11th 2008/Rain Date: June 18th 2008

That's great news. An organizing body to do something about the mobs of teens skulking around the Dunkin Donuts.

Holme Circle represent!

Congrats and good luck. I am not a resident of Holme Circle, but I do belong to the swim club there. The boundary interpretation is somewhat confusing. You may want to dumb that down a bit or stick to street names (i.e. west of Holme Ave between Willits and whatever.) or include a map...Just a suggestion.

Tom and Kevin, thank you very much for the congrats! Regarding the boundaries, I understand they are confusing but I took them right from the bylaws so I didn't misinterpret anything.

Thanks again,
Matt

Congratulations and the best of luck to the new Association!

I grew up there in the 1960's and remember watching the apartments being built on Axe Factory Rd. It was a great neighborhood then, and I hope it will remain a great place to live for many years to come.

Kudos for taking the initiative to set up a civic assoc. They can be vital in maintaining a neighborhood. I wish you the best of luck.

I grew up around there and have sent the info to my parents who still live there.

Way to go, I live not to far from that area and I love the little nursery next to Ritas. They do so really nice work and have some beautiful flowers. I was just there last night picking up some baskets for the front.

Thank you, we actually bought our flowers from there for our wedding. It is a nice little place.

Thank you to all who expressed their congratulations and interest in the value of forming a Civic Association.

As a reminder, tonight is our first membership drive. It will be held at the Rita's Water Ice on Holme Circle starting at 6:30. If anyone would like a copy of the boundary map, please send me a private message containing your e-mail and I will send it to you.

Thanks again for your support.

Respectfully,

Matt
