Thank you for confirming this. I thought it was awful, if true, when I read it on the other site. They are part of CA, and should have better sense than to say anything. It is Civil Affair's job to keep all situations calm, not add more fuel to the fire.
Hi, HG.
After working last out for three years, I transferred to another squad (same district) in January. Last out killed me. I never slept well, didn't eat right, and my entire body was screwed up.

My time online was short and sporadic. However, I still visited Phillyblog, but just didn't have the energy to post. I'm very well aware of who the naysayers are on this site, and the anti-police threads that were posted.
I see that LBomb took care of that.

As far as the two officers from Civil Affairs, I hope they get their act together. I actually saw the 48 when it came in to hqs., but didn't read it because I didn't think it was any of my business. Now, I wish I had read it.

Thank you for your continued support of the police. I see it hasn't been easy for you. You are truly a gem.

I really don't know what's going to become of this. I don't know if it's going to be investigated by Internal Affairs or not. But, from what I've heard from other cops (rumors, of course), it's been swept under the rug.

Where are the news reports on this? The news media was quick to pounce on the officer from Strike Force concerning the picture on Scott's locker.
Btw, I've known Scott since he's been on the job. He is not a racist.

The only way the public is going to hear about this is if the residents call, write, or e-mail the Commissioner and demand to know the facts, and insist that something is done. Otherwise, it'll get squashed and nothing will get done.

What's with the grand conspirafcy theory. The news hasn't run the story because they are just clueless as to what deserves coverage. THey put ratings in front of newsworthiness every time.
In a sense, you're correct. The news stations/media are looking for grandiose headlines to spike their ratings. However, if the races were reversed, this would have made national news, and Sharpton would have another reason to come to Philly. My opinion--double standard.
