I work in the 24th, and was working the day it occurred. Yes, it did happen.
 It's a disgrace that these two women are assigned to the Civil Affairs Unit, much less wear the badge. They are an embarrassment to the dept. The residents of Port Richmond are a class act. They keep their properties clean, you don't see thugs hanging out on the corners, and they take pride in their neighborhood. Shame on those officers!

So it's pretty much confirmed that this did in fact happen, now is it possible to get any details or should we just expect whats being predicted at domelights and it will be swept under the rug? Funny how the FOX 29 vid is getting played to the hilt but this incident is being ignored and more then likely squashed.

I undersand that the whole point of the civils affairs unit is supposed to quell potentially violent situations and those officers needed to keep their mouth shut. But for the perspective of a station manager what do you think is more newsworthy a police chase followed by a beating or two officers jawing with a couple of Port Richmond residents? What's with the grand conspirafcy theory. The news hasn't run the story because they are just clueless as to what deserves coverage. THey put ratings in front of newsworthiness every time.
