New guy here

I've been lurking for quite some time, but since I hadn't seen anything about this poster yet, I figured I'd set up an account and toss it out there in case it was missed.

Have you seen it yet? If so, what are your thoughts?

I was out bike riding yesterday with "the boy", and I saw these hanging up all over Cottman and Frankford.

What are your thoughts?

They're horrible. Take them down when you see them and dispose of them properly please. The KSS is using the unfortunate crimes to further their own agenda. There are other police that have been killed in the line of duty inbetween Faulkner and Skerski, and they happen to be people of color--no mention of them.

What follows is a post by LBomb who is a police officer re. those posters you are referring to. It says it all in my opinion.

Robert Porter, Lauretha Vaird, Freddie Dukes, Joaquin Montijo, Winnie Hunter....just to name a few...all killed LOD by gunfire. No....you only see white officers killed by black assailants.
I am insulted, disgusted, incensed that they are using my brothers to spread the message of hate against blacks.

i think the lower northeast is quickly becoming the next fishtown from 20 years ago

a bunch of white trash scared that their neighborhood is not what it once was and blaming choclate people for it

The flyer on that pole speaks for itself. Just look at crime statistics as well as the prison population. That sign is what I like to call realism, other people call it racism. Racism is black history month, BET, NAACP, etc. No?

I think the families of these officers would be disgusted as would be most of us here in the Mayfair area...they (the fallen officers) deserve more respect than this.
