The Frankford Gazette has posted a map of the home addresses for the 8 Frankford residents that have shown up on up the 150 most wanted from the commissioner. A couple come close to Northwood.
Here's the link http://frankfordgazette.blogspot.com...ls-wanted.html |

I think the detective's idea is a good one. I think a lot of people don't like to report anything to the cops because the first thing they're asked is who they are.
But a reasonable tip about a crime, especially an ongoing crime, can be a big help to law enforcement. However, does anyone know if authorities can subpoena the blog's records to find out who tipsters are? |

we can TRY to identify tipsters, however, if i promise anonymity- i keep my promises.
what im trying to accomplish is to gather information on crimes that wouldnt be solved without some 'good' dirty information from the 'streets'. |

Just this morning, I saw two more mailboxes tagged with "daman" again. I recognize it as it was the same tag I cleaned off the mailbox at Rhawn and Bingham Tuesday night. I didn’t see them yesterday morning or yesterday afternoon when I left work, so it had to have happened last night. The tag reads as follows:
daman BD JERK It's scrawled in some white waxy kind of substance, (crayon? seems harder) and is difficult to remove. It can't just be painted over as it will show through whether intended or not by the vandal in question. Postal Blue is also a rather soft paint and gets messy with solvents. The graffiti remover insn't as affective as the acetone spray, but will work with some effort without dissolving the Postal Blue finish. I suggest sanding the tag off and then painting over. The mailboxes affected are the one at Shelmire and Verree across from Quig's Pizza and one at Rising Sun one block above Tyson. I'm sure I'll find many more with his mess. Maybe we should take pictures before removing the tags and submit them to the Postal Investigator. Isn't vandalizing federal property a felony? |
