I noticed some db with the tag "SUSHI" had some fun over at Lincoln's football field on Rowland Ave. That's a constant battle, just keep painting over it and if caught then hopefully some street justice will be served up. No need to bother the police.

I think a severe azz beating would teach them a better lesson. It's things like this that make me want to bring public caneings to the USA like they do in China. I'm so sick of these punks throwing their hands up and saying " What are you gonna do?"

"I'm gonna watch your azz get strapped to a pole and then I'm gonna watch you azz get whipped, THAT'S what I'm gonna do !"
Or better yet, spray paint their clothes with a big "L"

3300, I love how you get all worked up, I bet you'd be a hoot after a few beers in the bar discussing neighborhood issues...hahaha

I try to remove as much of the tagging as I can myself, but the task often seems overwhelming. I only wish more people would get involved. It would keep the neighborhood that much cleaner and would definately send a message to these losers.

I have been in contact with C.L.I.P. who is pretty responsive to the large graffiti tags that mar walls - much of which needs to be powerwashed. The only problem is, you have to give them the exact address, a description of the surface that is damaged, and with what media, (marker, paint) the surface is damaged. They also don't bother much with the little stuff like tags on mailboxes, signs, etc.

I'd like to see the punks arrested and forced to do community service cleaning up the mess they've created. Back in November, my girlfriend was driving home from work and actually saw one of these punks going down Bustleton Avenue hitting every mailbox, traffic control box, newspaperbox, and bus shelter along the way. It was only 6:30 PM and nobody saw this creep? Graffiti taggers are not violent and would probably cower in the corner if you confronted them.

Wazzup, homies? Maybe you're watching too many rap videos? You think ghetto life is glamorous? You think you got what it takes to be a gangsta? Maybe I should take a few of you down to the 'hood to see what it's really like. You wouldn't last an hour.
-right on dude! or maybe they've seen one too many rock videos or episodes of jackass. Better yet, take them down to one of the too many tattoo parlors in Philly. I am sure their work would be much more appreciated there than in the "hood"

-umm, your scaring me 3300- that sounds very ancient and outdated. The majority of kids that are doing this are underaged and unsupervised. I've got a better idea that doesnt involve violence. How about all of us as parents make sure that are kids are accounted for and indoors when they should be. start watching the things your kids have stored under their beds. if theres 30 cans of spray paint, i think thats an indication that something stupid could be going on. also, if the police could be keeping an eye out for kids that are lurking the area during school hours and evening hours that would help too.
The goal is to stop the problem without putting ourselves in danger. These kids are crazy, I dont think we need to be calling them out.

With all due respect mommy, I agree that in Never Neverland everything could be solved with a little talking to and everybody has 100% interrest in their kids and are 100% involved in everything they said and did. There is love, joy, and harmony.

In Realityland, where I live, kids are NOT supervised and their parents do NOT give a flying rats eff what their kids are doing, so long as it doesn't interfere with their lives. In Realityland I think a swift kick in the arse would do more good than harm.

The whole "we should just let the parents to handle it" thing is extremely un-realistic.

trust me we are frustrated with this foolishness as well. We have a shed in our backyard right now with graffiti all along the back of it and we have been putting off the project of getting it painted over only because we know that this will only invite these kids to do it again. I dont know about anyone else but we dont have that kind of money. These kids could care less about our properties.

my husband has literally watched kids drive along the side of our house, pull over and proceed to toss a bag of McDonalds garbage onto our sidewalk and lawn - right with him standing there. this really angers us but i am not going to have my husband getting shot at trying to rear somebody else's kid. i teach my kids lnot to litter so you know defacing property is out of the question. I just think this should start at home.

Default Immediately Remove Graffiti...

...and keep removing it. Leaving it up only invites more vandalism. Graffiti taggers will eventually give up trying to tag a particular surface if their "art" constantly and quickly disappears. If acquiring paint and materials is a problem, I believe C.L.I.P. or the Anti-Graffiti network is will to provide a voucher.

Don't worry about some idiotic tagger shooting you. They are cowardly worms who will quickly back down if confronted. Their petty crime nets them no profit and they do their dirt under cover because they're too yellow-bellied to face anyone.

Default Getting Bad Again

As the summer progresses, the grafitti increases. I can't believe how much scrawl I see along Roosevelt Blvd. It's like every pole and sign has been marred by some talentless monkey throwing his excrement onto every surface. It looks unpleasant and gives the entire Northeast a menacing ambiance.

Just this past 4th of July I took my girlfriend's aunt home after a cookout we had at my place. On the way there, I passed over a bridge which was free of grafitti. On my way back, I noticed some loser tagged it twice! This happened in less than 45 minutes time!
I immediately stopped my car and cleaned this mess. I hope the little loser came back and saw his precious tags missing and burst into tears for wasting his paint!

This morning, I'm on my way to work and noticed some retard hit a wall of a friend's business. It had to have happened last night because it wasn't there when I returned home from work yesterday afternoon. It was the same old scumbag who's been blighting the neighborhood for the past two years. Unlike Officers Hill and Fitzgerald, I'd break his hands rather than his jaw so he can no longer hold a spray can or magic marker!

Lemko is the man. I recently removed many tags bearing the name "tuk." I thought to myself, "If I catch "tuk, " he'll be "fukt."
