I live in Mayfair and REFUSE to travel into the 'burbs to find a play group for my 20 month old son. Is their ANYTHING in this area to get him involved in?

Some local churches have play groups for moms with small kiddies I would also take him to story hour at the libraries, playgrounds...maybe this is something you could start??? The perzel center might have room for it a cpuple days a month...this could be a good thing! My kids are all older now so I dont need it but sure could have when they were little.

Mayfair chick, you read my mind!! I was just discussing at dinner with my hubby that I am going to give the center a call to see what we can start...
Mayfair is a fantastic community for children-where family can really live as a one income earning household and mom or dad can stay at home and take care of the kiddies. Let's build a community that supports and sustains that tradition

I'd be ALL OVER something like that! I have four wee ones here, two of them old enough to go out and play on their own, but the others are still little guys! Would love to find something for them to get involved in!


I know there is a moms group at Nazareth Hospital, but I've never gone...

So here's the deal. The group that use to meet at nazareth now meets at the perzel community center (I called to see if I could set something up). I am not sure of the times, but when I get further info. I will post it.
