in 3 weeks...LawnCrest 4th of July Flea Market at Rising Sun and Lardner/Benner.

Yeah yeah, I know, "ain't what it used to be"...hey, when this little grouprunning the 4th is trying to compete with Welcome America in Center City, there is only so much you can do.

Most of the long time vendors of years past when down to CC to make bookoo bucks....those who show up at LawnCrest are the smaller ones.

Last years was good despite the heat until the strong thunderstorms came along and literally blew everyone and everything away....but that is summer weather.

If you want to get a spot at the Flea Market, PM me and I will get you in touch with the Coordinator.

Apparently the women who owned the lot and kept the flea market going there just passed. I was advised that her services were last Weds. 6-6-07. However they were referring their vendors to the new Ashton Rd site which is where I ended up again this past weekend.

It was my 1st time back in a few weeks and there were about 45 vendors or so. Mostly due, I'm sure to the displaced group from Neshaminy. Anyway, it went pretty well, I'm going to give it another go this weekend and see how it goes. I'll be sure to post some info after!
