Default State Rep. Michael McGeehan

What, if anything, do you know of him?

He was walking through Tacony yesterday with his "soldiers" going from house to house to register people to vote. I thought it was cool until I told one of his guys I'm already registered and he proceeded to ask me if I was registered Democrat.

I told him, "It's none of your business and I find it extremely inappropriate of you to ask, but I am registered Democrat. However, I voted Republican almost across the board during the Mayoral election."

Then he proceeded to give me this useless pamphlet on McGeehan. I wish it told more about him. I think I'm going to contact this guy and find out more about him and what are his views of PA's future.

Hallwatch.org has very little info on these people now. I seem to remember them having more. All I know about McGeehan is that he is a Father Judge grad. I guess that doesn't tell you much.

Well, I contacted the State Rep. via email. I received this from him:

Thank you for your email. Unfortunately, the short window of the campaign allows only a brief hello when we conduct our door-to-door canvas. With literally thousands of homes to canvas, the emphasis is on meeting the most people in a very limited time. I am available, however, to meet with you and answer any questions or concerns you may have. To schedule an appointment, please contact my Adm. Asst. Nancy Hartey.
Thank you for contacting me.
Mike McGeehan
If there is anyone who lives in the area and would like to meet with him along with me, please feel free to drop me a line.

Thanks!

I know he's big on stopping identity theft...he was a victim of it.
