I get the hair did in my friends basement. She is a hairdresser but they got mad at us for cracking a bottle of wine open in their shop. lmao jk
But I do get it done in her basement, hey who wants to sit in a salon for 3 hours while you get it colored, this way we can have a drink or two. ( omg one day I will have purple hair )

BLUEDESERT1001...

I was only kidding about the Happy ending thing. I thought I had made that clear ,,I guess I was wrong .
The girls there do a great job and the happy ending is a good hair cut at a good price.
Sorry if I was not clear about the joke part. I do not want any one to think that you get any thing but a nice hair cut there..

Poor Rocco, he died a few years ago. My father grew up on hartel so I ended up at that shop plenty of times before my grandfather passed in 85. The shop is still there but isnt open as much anymore.

Now I cut my own hair....shaved.

Thats the place in the back of the mall right? Every time I pass there it is closed. Maybe they have different hours but then again I am never looking for it to be open.

I got my hair dyed for St Patty's Day this yr. Friend of mine who owns a salon did it after I had cut it myself (cropped short).

It's kinda cool getting your hair dyed at an afterparty. Go out on the town, then go to a house party and chill... and what better thing to do? *wham* out comes the peroxide jar from Sally's Beauty Supply.

Now I just go to anybody who is open and just ask them to find the shortest guard on the clippers they have. I now sport the "gas station attendant"/Marine drill sargeant look. It's easy to maintain (not much of a need to shampoo... bar of soap works).

And this is why you should donate to PACCA, not PETA:

In September, PETA made headlines in Vermont and across the nation for asking
Ben & Jerry's ice cream to use human breast milk in their ice cream, instead of cow milk

I get my hair done at Lindas on Frankford Ave. My husband gets his hair cut there also. I also get my nails and pedi there too.

Your point is very valid. That was horrific how they had those operations going. It is unfathomable how those poor girls/women paid their saved money to get here, and then were turned into sex slaves.

In all fairness though I think dogghosts was not disrespecting those women. I know two Korean women do that......well massage therapuetic or otherwise, and own their own little parlor. One of the ladies is paying her way through school to become a Vet. So there are women that do that through freewill.

It still saddens me though. There has to be another way to make the money.
Dogghosts is a kind man, and compassionate man it seems and I don't think he would have said that to be mean.
