I also like Danish Bakers.

Danish Bakery is known on here by most people for their Butter Cakes....

mmmm...butter cake....

I bought one on Sunday around 3pm, it was gone by 9 that night..and that was stretching it out!.....LOL

Something my mom calls "Pin Wheels" ? (chocolate jelly roll).... are REALLY good as well.

But if you don't like thme...How about Shenk's on Veree Road, just below Rhawn?....7951 Veree. They have some good stuff as well. Cakes were really good the last time I was there.

I always like the baked goods from the Country Club Diner. I'm also a fan of the Danish Bakery as well.

I like the diner as well. Also good is the Italian bakery at Rhawn & Bustleton. What's it called, La Dolce Vita?

Geiger's is a virtual cornacopia of all things Birthday Cakes.

The icining is super-de-super sugar laden too.

Plus the girls are sweethearts in there. My friends daughter works in there.

Hope your mom has a wonderful Birthday ctr3. Health, and a good many more for her.

Thank you everyone. I think I'm going to try La Dolce Vita on Bustleton. My mom adores butter cake but with her cholesterol... I think I'll stick with a regular cake.

Please do not make those ladies in there write anything besides HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM.

My girlfriends buddy got her cake there, and it said "HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAT A*S" or something similar. He taped it on his phone, and it was hilarious. The nice ladies were asking is this a guy or girl? Your girlfriend?

Happy Birthday ctr3's mom. I hate this cholestrol thing anymore. Dang!

Default The funniest cake story I have ever heard

Someone close to me, works in a local supermarket...one of the young guys started working in the bakery taking orders.....a woman calls for a cake and when she tells him what she wants written on it, he asks her to repeat it like three times...the woman of course is most likely thinking is he for real it wasnt like it was an unreasonable request......
The woman comes to pick up her cake..on it in big icing letters it says

WOMANS SHOE

The woman flips out what the hell is that?????????
its supposed to say We'll Miss you!
I nearly peed my pants when I heard that first...and I know the guy who wrote it...he never lived it down...to this day all we have to say is Womans shoe and we all start laughing.
