Default Sterling Street?

Hi PB folks - Is Sterling Street in NE? I grew up on Sterling Street in the late 40's-early 50's. I found Sterling on a mapquest map, but I'm not really sure where the boundaries of NE are??? I believe it's very close to CityLine?

We moved to Springfield when I was about 5, and out to LA when I was 8.
I haven't been in PA for at least 35 years, and I'm coming next week?

What's that hood like today?

Default Sterling Street Is In Oxford Circle Section of Northeast

Sterling Street is in the Oxford Circle section of Northeast Philadelphia. Today it is a diverse multiracial middle class neighborhood.

Doesn't Sterling run E - W, from Lawndale near the RR tracks, through Oxford Circle, and on into Mayfair?

Take the rose colored glasses off. It's an extension of N. Philly in most places west of the Blvd.

You guys are confusing "Sterling" with "Stirling."

Stirling runs east-west, and is located between Levick and Devereaux.

Sterling (at least one of them) is by 20th and Cheltenham. 19138.
