Kegal I am in the same boat as you, only been together for 4 years this month and he treats me like gold. We live together and he raises my 2 girls as if they were his. My man likes when we do HIS things together. Like go to hockey games or even watch an old war movie together, I just dolt over him al little more so during said excursions. He also loves when I leave him a little note in his lunch. Calls me eveytime during lunch to tell me he loves me so much.( Bonus Aprils fool note between the bread )
But regardless of what you do for him I am sure he would appreciate it so much as long as he kjnew it came from the heart. I also found that a good book on anything is a great gift.

Oh, please...let's not split hairs. Technically, you're right. But I think that when most of us consider the term "unwed mother", we are referring to someone who has never been married. I was widowed at 37 with two little boys...people may have called me a widow or a single mother, but no one ever referred to me as "that unwed mother who lives down the street".

Not to get into a debate, because I dont' care that much, but it's you splitting hairs. You apparently view "unwed mothers" to be a derogatory term. I never differentiated between unwed, single, divorced, widowed mothers. It's all the same to me. If I say unwed mother, I mean a single mother. How the hell do I know why someone is single and why should I care? I'll bet Mr. C meant it the same way. You're the one attributing a negative connotation to it.
