coming home from dinner tonight we stopped to see a house fire on a small street behind hardvard square.. I guess it was Elbridge street. I think the fire was in the basement.. Anyone know anything about it?? It was about 5:30 pm or so..

I live on Elbridge and heard fire trucks and such around that time but did`nt smell any fire and it also wasnt on my part of elbridge(obviously,lolol)..
ON another note,I am suprised that I havent seen any threads started about the dead body found in the home behind my home on passmore on August 16th..It seems like it was really isolated,like it wasnt even in the N.E times until 2 weeks later and channel six was here that night but never aired it.. Pretty freaky,,If it wasnt for me knowing a cop I would have never of gotten the real story..I was thinking it was a murder for quite a few days. But apparently the man had fell on his front steps and hit his head really hard and then climbed into his house and wound up in the basement. He was down there deceased for 18-24 hrs..
I hope that everyone in that house got out safely..I hate hearing about fires,,I was in one when i was 6 and the smell of fire brings it all back for me..
