Exclamation Tacony Civic General Meeting Sept 12th

Just wanted to let everyone know Tacony Civic's next general meeting is on Tueday Sept 12, 7:00pm Disston and Glenloch.

The new Captain of the 15th will be a guest speaker, from the Quality of Life committee - that's my group

The PEC group will be in doing a presentation on the Delaware river trail

And a number of zoning matters - including a petition for the Dreaded PAWN SHOP, come out and fight to keep that kind of biz out of our neighborhood.

Well, if Tacony does get it's very own pawn shop, let's hope that MARC, on behalf of the current State Rep., Mike McGeehan and his brother in law who runs MARC will at least set up a flower box in front of it. The flower box might prettify the area enough to entice Mike to divert a few of the many personal dollars he pumps into FLORIDA and JERSEY investements to the 173rd District and invest in the community he's supposed to represent. A pawn shop would give Mike a place to get rid of all the stuff he's stored in his closet for so many years and have some cash to invest in the 173rd.

Thumbs up We're There

Cammy, I'll inform neighbors.

I'll also inform my girlfriend from Wiss Civic.

We were due a pawn shop in that little Mayfair Mall years back. They claimed it was a high standard pawn shop, and it turned out the company was from somewhere in another State. We fought it.

The pawn shop comes, and it's all downhill from there.

Maybe someone can keep bumpingthis post. It's important. Very important.

Hee, hee. You've never been to a Tac Civic meeting obviously :o . The turnout is always very significant, even without a controversial issue.

But bumping can't hurt either.
