Default Gealic Games at the river fields

Today was a washout for spectators but the games went on...
Anyone who is interested in watching the Irish play their sports listen to some music and enjoy a great day go tomorrow. Kids are free, Adults I believe are $20 for the day, its a rain or shine event for the sports unless of course the feilds are under water.

No thats not it this is Gealic football and camogie and hurling

Gealic footbal is a sort of Soccer, rugby and basketball all in one, you can pick it up and dribble and pass and you can score goals and points in a football type goal.
They have children from 6-18 competing and adults

Hurling and camogie are sort of like Lacrosse and feild hockey combined, it is a very dangerous looking sport but it is great to watch. My husband and I no longer play but our kids do.

Ill post next year when they start recruiting newbies for the kids....

Kids?

Sign me up. LOL I'm going to check up on that, camogie. Sounds like a fabulous time. Keep those kids going. We need to. This teenage stuff will bring you down I tell you.

Maybe I need a camogie stick.
