The Medical Mission Sisters on Pine Rd. Go west on Rhawn, right on Pine, go a few blocks and on your left.
There's a nice one on Route 13 in Andalusia/Bensalem, going north it's on the right. There's an old stone church there, a small sign for the thrift, a narrow car entrance and parking in the back. |

on a nice day, you might want to check out the quakertown flea market which is right near the tacony palmyra bridge (it's very close to that gentlemen's club, with the greek statues outside), or if you feel like venturing into jersey, there is another flea market just over the bridge. the one in jersey is really big and sells tons of new and old stuff. both are only open on the weekend.

There also is the Salvation Army Store on Rising Sun at Passmore and up the street from that at Rising Sun and Gilham is the Light House Thrift Shop.
Light house used to be at Godfrey, but moved into the old Phila Pet Center building this past year. Salo has been there since the A&P closed eons ago...I hear the Light House has some pretty good stuff in there.

Check this place out. It is right in your very own area, if you don't know about it already.
The Rejuvenated Furniture and Finds. Frankford Avenue and Shelmire Streets, next to the Breas Animal clinic. Near the Dunkin Donuts. A very cool place to go. Everything that is retro and cool. Great place to get cheap childrens and teen furniture. Check out downstairs, very fun stuff in that area. Here is a website link ----- http://rejuvenatedfurniture.weebly.com/index.html And, Too bad there was a thrift store (Hope Thrift) on Cottman Avenue above Frankford that I recently started to visit, and the last time I went (about 3 weeks ago) they were having a going out of business sale. You could get a box of stuff for $5.00. or a bag fill for $2.00. But they were kind of doomed where they were, no one would ever go on the street there because there really isn't anything else there but the liquor store. And a morgage place, and that bad furniture store that has been going out of business for like 5 years, ha. And it was above where the old Movie theatre is which is now the Republic Bank.
