Default Where is St. Rep McGeehan?

I recieved an invitation in my door the other day inviting me to a press conference. Unfortunately, it was held at 10 am when I was at work. Some pilot program McGeehan was starting about renters and single family homes. Very nice.

The same day my mother-in-law was babysitting the kids and tolds me she received a call that said McGeehan didn't own a house in philly or pay property taxes and you should press one to ask him about it. She didn't know he was so she hung up.

Has anyone else heard about this? Does he even live in Philly?

elephantears11,
No one seems to know where Representative Mike McGeehan lives. It's a major mystery. He has promised he'll explain where he lives but to date no one knows. The fact is, as of today, is he owns no property in the 173rd District, none in Philadelphia or anywhere in the State of Pennsylvania. He does own a house in NJ. When the Legislature goes back to work in September, McGeehan will be voting for taxes you and I will have to pay but he won't have to pay because he chooses not to invest and own a house in the 173rd District or anywhere else in Philly or Pennsylvania. I urge everyone who lives in the 173rd District to ask McGeehan: Where do you live, Mike?
Why after 16 years as the so called Rep. of the 173rd District has McGeehan chosen not to buy a home in the District? Is he homeless living under the Tacony Bridge because the pay raise he voted for was rescinded? Is he living in one of the old Holmesburg prison towers? Has he rented a closet in Delair Landing? Where does McGeehan live and why don't his constituents know where he lives?

Yes it has, Drivewaymom. In fact, I think I'll vote for McGeehan in November.

I'm pretty sure he lived in the district. I had his address somewhere, but can't find it right now.

My question was not meant to be funny or ridiculous. I was wondering if anyone else received a call. Has anyone been able to find where he has a house?

I wasn't voting for him anyway. I am a republican - see the name!!! But it is an important factor. It needs to be addressed.

Default why is it ridiculous?

I think it crazy that no one in the area knows where our state rep lives? I also think it's crazy that he does not invest in the community where he supposed to live? If you want to vote for him go ahead but there are alot of people who happen to want to be represented by someone that lives where they do. Our neighborhood has experience a step decline in the quality of life and I want Mr. Megehan to move here to experience what he was so happy delighted was happening to my neighborhood.

If you are comfortable voting for the current Rep. of the 173rd who hides where he lives that's your prerogative. Personally, I find it appalling that we in the 173rd have no idea where the current State Rep. lives. What's being hidden in the closet?

Good Luck getting any answers around here. And, no I did not receive a call but I do not live in the district.

As far as I know, he owns no property and pays no property taxes. The burden is on him. We have the facts.

I dont live in his district, and if you all want his address why dont you go to his office and ask them where he lives. His office has been open every night this week with people in and out of it. I think if you are that serious about this maybe you should go in and as them.
