Default And the flyer is out!! Mike McGeehan LIVES........

STill a mystery, as the flyer claims that he has lived at the home above his brother's bar his whole life and the property he owns everywhere else other than Philadelphia are just investments.

So still lying is the best thing I can say.

Let me just put it this way: If Mike McGeehan lives in the district he "represents" HE SURE DOESN'T ACT LIKE IT! Er, unless he's a complete masochist or something! And as for the properties he owns elsewhere that he says are "just investments," that should make all of us sit up and say, "Oh really?"

The reason why is, does anybody here know of any other job McGeehan has ever held besides state rep? Is there any record that he ever received a huge personal inheritance at any time? Does he own any businesses in NE Philly on the side in addition to his being the state rep? For I for one would like to know where the money came from that he used to purchase those investments, as in "follow the money trail." We know, for instance, that he never gave back his illegal pay increase money. And to the best of my knowledge he's never told anyone why. In addition to this has he ever received sizeable amounts of lobbying money? If so, from who? And for what purpose? For very seriously, regarding all these questions we ALL have a right to know that. But to the best of my knowledge McGeehan won't answer a single one of them. Yet those investment properties he owns were purchased with money from somewhere. And if that "somewhere" was and remains legitimate, than, er, why all the big secrecy? The illegal pay increase money we know about, and that much obviously was wrong. And just that alone is enough to hang him on. But is there more we should know about, too? For I think this man -- if we can even call him that -- has some major explaining to do. Tell us all about your investment properties, Mike. We're all ears.

A most interesting inquiry, Get Rich. Perhaps there's an intrepid reporter who follows this blog who'd be interested looking into your questions. As I've maintained, McGeehan has chosen not to invest personally in the 173rd District. He goes to Harrisburg, votes for taxes he doesn't pay and asks for our support. He puts out a piece of mail which doesn't address the question at hand, which is : WHY DOES MCGEEHAN CHOOSE NOT TO PERSONALLY INVEST IN THE 173rd DISTRICT?
His slick mailing has now raised even more questions. Not only does he ignore the 173rd District for Jersey, but he proudly proclaims he invests in Florida. There's something awry here and people in the District want to know what McGeehan has going on and what's being hidden. It's time that Mike open the windows and the closets and tell us: WHAT'S UP?

Get Rich's questions are important.

I would say, Oystermick, that Pennsylvania State Representative Mike McGeehan of the 173rd District is looooong overdue for a federal audit. For you're absolutely right. If he doesn't feel the 173rd District where he allegedly resides is worth investing his own money in, then what the hell is he doing representing it?!!! Of course, the likelihood of seeing that needed federal audit of McGeehan while U.S. Representative Schwartz is still in office is very unlikely, especially when she likely could do for a federal audit, too. But then that's what we have Raj Bhakta to look forward to.

As for Mike McGeehan, man, all told that is just one really sad story! For he grew up around here and is a graduate of Father Judge you know. Yet when he entered into politics he jabbed a knife into the backs of his very own people for his own selfish financial gain. And seriously, do they come any lower than that?! And it's not like he had to do this, that Center City, the movers and shakers out on the Main Line, the governor and the state legislature and judiciary ordered him to do what he did. Rather, he did it because...well, to give Clinton's lame excuse....because he could. And it appears it never crossed his mind, never, not even once, "Hey, now that I'm the PA State Rep. for the 173rd District I can now turn this place where I grew up in around for the better. Instead, he saw others ripping it off and said, "Ah, now I can get with those people and do my own share of ripping it off, too! Whoopie!" Somebody should've pulled the guy aside and slapped him hard and said, "Mike, this is your very own roots here and the very people who helped you get to where you are today. And that's your thanks to them? That you're going to ruin their lives and neighborhoods every which way you can that way?! I don't think so!"

In event, I sure hope McGeehan's investment properties elsewhere made some really fabulous gains, because when they're forced to be liquidated by the audit after Raj gets in office, that will be a nice sum of money that will come flooding back into the 173rd District again, and no longer under McGeehan's control at that point, since it never was his own money in the first place...

I saw Mike today. He had a table set-up outside his office for voter registration.

Default why not come to torresdale ave and sit

If he came to torresdale ave he could see the prostitues, drug deals and help the civic picket the pawn shop that wants to open on torresdale ave, I was just thinking that was the only thing we need to complete the GHETTO theme running through my precious neighborhood.

I do not live in the district. However, I grew up not far from it. I have worked on and around Torresdale Ave. for months. I have seen my fair share. Perhaps you would like to join us during a walkthrough along Torresdale? Contact the Baldwin Campaign to setup a day.

Pete, start at Harbison, and walk that avenue. You'll encounter them.
Keep walking up to Cottman. They're there along the way. More concentrated at VanKirk, and then up at Magee where it gets crazy up until Unruh Street.

I've seen both guys and girls. It used to be down off like Knorr towards Keystone too. I haven't been back there in awhile so not sure if that still goes on.

If you can take a hike to the flee market tomorrow. When you're on foot I think you can get a netter picture. I posted eons ago I was going to the flea market and I had cars stopping. I had on a baseball cap, and a Penn jacket, and they kept stopping. Like coasting, and then going around, and coming back. I was PO'd and then after about the fifth girl asked me for a smoke, and then money I did the ol' scram thing.

Yes, there's drugs and tricks all over down there. They moved past Harbison, and crossed over.

A note being take a look at the businesses around Torresdale and VanKirk. They close by seven at the latest.
