Does anybody in blogland remember a guy named Mel Greenburg? He was on the city Council for many many years in the 1970s, and then he just resigned and disappeared from public sight.

Where the heck did he go? Did he flee the country or the state or city? Why did he quit the job?

I remember meeting him at the Pickwell Supermarket in the Krewstown Shoppping Center in 1974. He was a heck of a nice guy. He lived on my block, Morefield Road near Verree Road.

Why did he resign from his job? He was very nice and friendly.
