Talking John Taylor voted for the pay raise

Hey, all bloggers who vote:

State Sen. John Taylor and most of the other senators and state congressmen voted to raise their salaries by about 50 % last Autumn, and they shouldn't be allowed to get a away with that.
They also get free state limousines for travel, free health insurance, free health club membership, free life insurance for the rest of their lives, free bodyguards when necessary, free mailing privileges, free access to the governor and the cabinet whenever they want, and discounted mortgages and pensions.

For all that, they should get kicked right out of office in the general election, whenever that is. I think it is scheduled for lat October.

FYI: He is a State Representative. Unless you have lived on Mars everybody voted for the payraise. Almost all of them.

Ed Rendell signed it and Casey approved the checks.

There should be some law barring pay raises for elected people higher than the national rate of inflation.

Hey all bloggers who vote: If you show up to vote in "lat October" you'll find no waiting lines.

Yeah, it'd be easier to ask "who DIDN'T vote for the payraise"?

Obviously I dont live back home any longer but I do vote.

I think the suggestion included above in the quote is an excellent one. I am a Manager in a profitable company and the business unit I manage is quite profitable, all my annual goals are met and my typical increase is 3.5%. One year I got 7% due to a promotion.

Now if I could vote myself a 50% increase to go along with the many perks listed I would.

My employer exercises fiscal responsibility and that same responsibility should be exercised by our elected officials. That said, if you dont like it, VOTE!

I am not against someone getting the best deal they can get for themselves, but ultimately the taxpayers and citizens are the ones who have to deal with the result.

Just my nickels worth.

Yeah, another disgraceful, slanderous remark made without any proof.
