Anyone know if this place is still open / what happened?

The website is down and the phone number is busy.

They had a decent happy hour and a nice patio out back.

the airport killed it.

complaind about the noise, lights, bands...(the band's lights next to a runway?)

the multiple Drunk driving accidents didn't help.

Penny Drinks? ..

I heard it was the neighbors across the airport and on comly rd....the business couldn't make enough money without the outdoor entertainment....acording to the northeast times atleast...I don't know anything about the airport complaining....

all I heard was the lights and noise was an issue..a waitress told me it was the tower complining about the concert lights..tied in with the numerous accidents around the bar...

plus.. the fights..

Most NE bars suffer from getting "old"..

like Whisky Tango... it's getting "old"

An added complication is that the city owns the land and determined that Specialty Restaurants (a truly nasty company BTW) had no right to sublease it to Flat Spin, thus voiding the longterm lease contract. According to the law and transparancy (a good thing), the lease for the land must be put out to rebidding.

The place was a hell hole. I'm glad to see it gone. I was in there twice and swore I would never return.

Thank god that place is gone. What a waste of time. Too many guys, LOUSY music, and too much vomit in the parking lot.
